What have you learnt from completing this task?
I have learnt how to design a magazine with all the concepts behind the process, along with being able to make one and learning how much detail goes into making a magazine.

How have you used technology?
I've used the internet to research existing magazines to gain an idea of what mine should look like along with researching what college means to people. I have also used a camera to take the photos used for my magazine and Photoshop to make my mock up and my final design.

What conventions have you used and why?
I've used a main image that usually takes up the magazine front cover, taken as a medium shot of a college student.
I've used a masthead that is the title of my magazine.
I've included a barcode so people can purchase the magazine and a puff that offers something extra to the magazine-competition
Lastly I've used sell lines that briefly show whats inside and the attracts audience.
