Trebor mint advert

The main image on the advert is the unicorn and hand giving the unicorn a mint. The hand wears a long black glove with a bracelet and ring on top. This look is depicted from the famous actress and icon Audrey Hepburn. This look shows elegance within the advert which suggests that the Trebor mint is elegant itself, that it is better than other mints so it will persuade the viewer to buy their product. The jewellery could be considered to signify wealth and success which relates to the slogan 'sweet success' along with emphisising class and glamour.
The unicorn in the advert shows uniqueness because it is a rare mythological animal, which suggests that the mint is different and so therefore isn't like any other type of mint, again persuading the viewer to buy it. Also the unicorn's muzzle draws attention to the mint which draws the attention to the product being advertised.
The white background along with the white unicorn emphasises purity and adds to the element of fantasy in the image. Also the white helps to represent luxury as it is often associated with luxury items. This helps to make the black evening glove stand out and emphasises wealth and class.
The framing of the scene means the viewer cannot see who the arm belongs to, which means the attention isn't taken away from the product or the message Trebor wishes to covey.
The packet of mints of mints is centered at the bottom of the advert, and draws the eye in as it is the only part of the advert that makes use of strong colours.
